• If the package cannot be clearly assigned, an additional fee of €2 will be charged (effort for shipment clarification). This may be due to a missing customer number, a missing name or both (on the shipping label). The shipment must be processed additionally and assigned to the correct account. It is irrelevant whether you provided this information when ordering. If the information is not on the address label, it must be processed additionally by us, which then also incurs additional costs.
• Book and merchandise shipments are charged according to the price list, these are usually sent with Deutsche Post and are without a tracking number and therefore not insured. Parcels are charged like packages, parcels are limited to a certain size and weight by DHL and can arrive with or without a tracking number, without insurance. Packages can be larger and have a tracking number and are insured.

• This is possible with a power of attorney that must be stored online in the customer account and the ID card of the person collecting.
• Cash on delivery shipments are not possible!
• All shipments that cost charges are not accepted.
• Shipments arriving as UNPAID are not accepted.
Here is a small guide for an optimal address:
Please try to put all order data on one line so that there are only 3 lines in total on the package label. In the past, when there were more than 3 lines, a fourth line was often omitted from the label, which would have contained important information.
An optimal address would be, for example:
Swiss Paket K00000 SURNAME + initial of the first name
Street of your branch
Postal code and city of your branch
Alternatively to the customer number (K00000), you can also enter your letter code that you can find in your customer data.
• Enter your name with customer number as the address with the addition HAM OHG (without Swiss Paket).
• Our or your delivery address must NOT be used as an invoice address!
• In Switzerland, there is a duty-free allowance of 150 CHF per person. If the invoice amount is higher, it must be taxed at customs by you at 8.1% (reduced rate 2.6%).
• Advertising mail is usually unwanted mail (dialogue mail). We do not charge for this if you do not want to receive it. Inform the sender! We have a form for this in your customer account.
• Clarify in advance whether your retailer agrees to a refund.
• If the retailer agrees to a refund, you need a proper invoice showing VAT. For this you need a completed export declaration, which you can print out in your customer account. The export declaration must be stamped at customs, and the goods may need to be declared. You then send the stamped export declaration back to your supplier, who will credit or refund the VAT to you.
